Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us songs like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She is still in her prime. Rihanna is now one of music's most popular artists. Barbados born, she listened to reggae as she got older and started singing by herself, when she was in her teens. Disturbed by the chaos in her family and endless arguments with her parents she immersed herself in music, and eventually realized that she wanted to be an accomplished singer. While still in highschool, she formed a music group and was asked to perform with Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talents of this young lady. He suggested that she move from her home in New York in order to pursue a full-time career as a performer, something she readily accepted. Rihanna became a huge hit after her debut album debuted on the market. Young people adored her energetic songs. This inspired Rihanna to make films. She's now a teen model and a the fashion icon. Rihanna puts her fame into great use through being engaged in a variety of charitable causes
